About the Artist

Joe P (Joseph Quinn Peters, born November 25, 1983) is a Springfield, Massachusetts-born flameworking artist widely considered a pioneer in functional glass art. He began his glassblowing journey at Holyoke Community College, refined his skills at Snow Farm craft school in Williamsburg, MA, and went on to teach at the Penland School of Crafts and the Corning Museum of Glass.

Originally focused on standalone sculptures, Peters transitioned into functional glass in 2012 - creating intricate water pipes, dab rigs, and pendants that quickly made him one of the most sought-after artists in the industry. He is known for popularizing hyper-realistic textures like dripping honey and complex marine life in his pieces, inspired directly by his work as an avid SCUBA diver. His work has been featured at the Corning Museum Gallery and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Peters is based at Everdream Studio in Evergreen, Colorado, where he collaborates with other world-renowned glass artists. His museum-quality pieces regularly sell for tens of thousands of dollars at major glass shows including the GlassVegas Expo.
