About the Artist

GreenForestGlass is based in Eugene, Oregon - melting since December 2018. He builds on a lathe, a precision technique more common in scientific glassblowing than in the heady pipe world. Where most flameworkers shape glass freehand at the torch, lathe work spins the glass as it's formed, producing walls of consistent thickness, perfectly round profiles, and structural integrity that's hard to achieve any other way. Each colorway is worked into the glass itself.
