About the Artist

AKM (Andrew K. Murray) is a glassblower and pipemaker based out of Richmond, Virginia - forged in a Scott's Addition studio with raw talent developed over 20 years at the torch. He is one of the world's leading glass artists, known for both his solo work and his collaborations with artists from around the globe.

His collaborative roster reads like a who's who of the international glass scene: Ryno, Salt, Jac. Akio, Snowflake, Takao, 2 Stroke, Grim, Kaj Peter Muller, and many more. Twenty years in, still pushing.
