Carsten grew up in that world. Between 16 and 17 he was already slinging glass he sourced from a buddy. By 18, in 1995, he started taking formal lessons from artists who had studied directly under Snodgrass.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHe went on to teach many of today's well-known glass blowers — including his brother Darby Holm. He has collaborated with some of the most respected names in the industry: Mike Luna, Eusheen, Coyle, Ryno, Birddogg, and others.
